Description: Marion sees her best friend's brother, the broad-shouldered, blonde, blue-eyed Tom, and immediately falls in love with him. When the young man leaves the military, she decides to become a policeman, and Marion, who just got her teaching degree, is determined to get the boy for herself. He is unable to admit that things seem to be wrong, that he is entering into marriage, and he is sure that his love will help both of them through their difficulties. But Tom has another life, and there's another person who's just as irresistibly yearned for his love. Patrick, curator of the Brighton Museum, is also crazy about his policeman and explores an unknown world to Tom. However, in an era when "minorities" have been branded by society as by law, the safe solution is to marry the teacher by the guardian of the order. The two lovers must share Tom until one of them can't stand it any longer, and all three of their lives will be ruined.
